Galadari Brothers pledges Rs10m to help repatriate stranded Pakistanis

DUBAI (Web Desk) - Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfi Abbas Bukhari visited Khaleej Times headquarters and met with Galadari Co-Chairman Suhail Galadari. According to the International Newspaper 'Khaleej Times', Suhail Galadari committed Rs10 million for the repatriation of stranded Pakistanis in the UAE during a meeting with Bukhari. He also pledged to invest in the hospitality and tourism sector of Pakistan in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan's tourism vision, which is being effectively implemented by Bukhari. Bukhari thanked Galadari Brothers for their humanitarian gesture and investment pledge. "What Suhail Galadari pledged for the repatriation of Pakistanis is a huge announcement and we really thank him for his kind gesture," said Bukhari. Zulfikar Bukhari has said that the government had made special efforts to ensure release and repatriation of 1,200 Pakistani prisoners from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during the coronavirus pandemic. "Only 121 Pakistani were remained in the Abu Dhabi Jails," he added. “A part of our humanitarian efforts during COVID-19 was release & repatriation of 1200 prisoners from UAE, with 121 now left in prisons in Abu Dhabi,” the SAPM tweeted.
