QUETTA (92 News) - PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz said on Sunday that the game of puppets is about to end as well as time has come to change the fate of Pakistan

The 11-party anti-government Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance is holding its third power show — this time in Quetta. PDM leadership blasts incumbent PTI-led government at Quetta power show.

Addressing the PDM Quetta rally, Maryam Nawaz said that the time has come to change the fate of Pakistan and Balochistan. "No longer will husbands and brothers go missing, people of Balochistan," she said.

"Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, in one of his speeches at Staff College, Quetta, had stated that policymaking is the job of civilians and had instructed serving officers of the state to abide by their oaths. Tell me, has Quaid's instruction been followed?," she maintained.

She lauded a recent Supreme Court judgement that declared the references filed against Justice Qazi Faez Isa — who hails from Balochistan — were based on malafide intentions.

"I urge the courts to give justice to Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui as well who was removed for speaking the truth," she said.

The Balochistan government has deployed more than 4,000 security officials from police, Frontier Corps (FC) and other forces to maintain law and order.

Earlier, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Balochistan regarding the security of the PDM rally, in which it was decided to impose Section-144 in the city as well as ban pillion riding on motorcycles for the day
