LAHORE (92 News) – As the weather became cold, gas loadshedding has increased in cities, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Karachi and Peshawar.

Gas loadshedding continues in Lahore as well. Due to low gas pressure, domestic consumers are also in trouble.

Residents of Lahore say that they cannot buy food from hotels; even cylinders are out of purchasing power. They demanded that the government should take steps to solve the problem.

Gas loadshedding in Faisalabad has made people's lives miserable. In some areas, gas pressure is so low that women are having difficulty in cooking.

On the other hand, the situation of gas loadshedding is not different in Karachi either.

In most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in Peshawar, the gas cut-off has made life difficult for people. In some areas, gas is not available for 22 hours, while in other areas; stoves have become cold due to low pressure. SNGPL officials claim that there is an abundance of gas in the province.

People are saying that if gas is available in abundance then why people are being deprived of it in winter. "If there is a problem of distribution of Sui gas then it should be interpreted as negligence of SNGPL."

Citizens say that the government, which claims to provide basic services to the people, is now silent on the non-availability of gas facility after electricity.
