Gas prices to scale up from July 1

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Ministry of Petroleum has decided to raise prices of natural gas from July 1. As per sources, the ministry is set to increases prices in light of the new Gas Infrastructure Bill. The prices are likely to scale up by 53 percent for industrial consumers, 18 percent for commercial consumers and 64 percent for fertilizers factories. As a result, the price of CNG is also likely to rise by 25 percent.
