Gas shoratge is result of its lavish use in past, says Finance Ministry spokesperson

LAHORE (92 News) – Finance Ministry Spokesperson Muzzammil Aslam has said that the gas shorage is a result of its lavish use in the past.

In a statement on Saturday, he said, “The condition has come to the point that industrialists are insisting to get gas being used by domestic consumers. The textile sector demands gas. We are not bringing any mini budget but a budget of reforms. We are only imposing taxes on luxury items. Common man will not be affected."

The spokesperson said that price of onion had reduced upto 30%, eggs have come down by 15%, and prices of lentils have also come down. "Flour is availabale at Rs55 per kg across country except Sindh.”
