Gen Nadeem Raza assumes charge as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – General Nadeem Raza HI (M) assumed appointment of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) at Joint Staff Headquarters, said DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor on Twitter. On November 21, Prime Minister Imran Khan had appointed Lt Gen Nadeem Raza as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee. The notification for reappointment of General Qamar Javed Bajwa, NI( M) as COAS for another tenure had already been issued on Aug 19, 2019. Currently Lt Gen Nadeem Raza was working as Chief of General Staff. He has replaced CJCSC General Zubair Mahmood Hayat. He earlier worked as Commander Corps Rawalpindi. He had also been PMA Commandant Kakul.
