Gen Zubair takes command as CJCSC

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – General Zubair Mahmood Hayat has on Monday assumed the command of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC). A formal ceremony to welcome the newly appointed Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat was held in Rawalpindi on Monday (today). During the formal ceremony, outgoing Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mahmoud handed over the command to General Zubair. A Guard of Honour was presented by contingent of tri-services. General Zubair Mahmood Hayat is the 17th head of Joint Chiefs of Committee. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) designate General Qamar Javad Bajwa also attended the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by officers from three services.
