General elections are of no use without electoral reforms, says JI ameer

LAHORE (92 News) - Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Sirajul Haq inquired after the health of PTI chairman Imran Khan at Zaman Park on Wednesday.

He prayed for the recovery of the PTI workers injured in the attack.

During the meeting, Sirajul Haq proposed to introduce the proportional representation to make the electoral issues transparent. Imran Khan agreed to forward the proposal in party meeting.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Sirajul Haq said that the general elections are of no use without electoral reforms. "Under the present circumstances, no one will accept the election."

He welcomed the decision of the establishment, saying that the politicians should let the establishment away from politics.
