General elections will surely be held on Feb 8, says Asif Zardari

KARACHI (92 News) - |PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari has said that the general elections will surely be held on February 8.

In an interview with a private TV channel on Thursday, he said that politics was his compulsion, not need. "No party will be able to get a majority in the next elections. Alliances are always formed against the PPP, which will give a surprise in the general elections," he added.

The former president said that the PTI wanted to give six ministries. "The PTI government wanted minus-Zardari PPP. The decision to table a no-confidence motion against the PTI was justified. Pakistan had been isolated in the world due to the PTI chairman who was an enemy of the national economy," he maintained.
