German envoy Martin Kobler bids farewell to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler, who has won the hearts of Pakistanis in the last two years, bid farewell on Wednesday (today). In a video message on Twitter, that Kobler said would unfortunately be his last, the ambassador said that he would now visit Pakistan as an ordinary tourist. Kobler arrived in Pakistan as German ambassador in August 2017 and announced his retirement in early March this year. “Last tweet! Door to residence locked, my friend and deputy Jens dropped me at airport. Last selfie with kind follower. Thank you people of #Pakistan for the wonderful 2 yrs in ur beautiful country! Happy to come back to travel. #Pakistan will always keep a firm place in my heart!,” German envoy tweeted. In another tweet, he said, “Honoured to bid farewell to president @ArifAlvi, lively discussion on how to make #Pakistan fit for 21st century. His vision on research and artificial intelligence was thought provoking.” Germon Envoy expressed his happiness during the farewell meal with FC guards. “Pleasure is: bringing meal in last moments for FC guards!! Enjoyed my last supper of professional life with them!! Thank you for always protecting us, so well!! What a memorable last hours in #Pakistan,” he tweeted.
