RAHIMYAR KHAN (92 News) – In a bizarre move, the Government Elementary School Jam headmaster Anees has refused coeducation and expelled 150 female students from school. Parents and the students from Class 6 to 8 staged a demonstration and blocked Khanpur Road against the arbitrary decision of the headmaster. The protesters said that their future is in jeopardy due to the decision. “The exams are only three months ahead. Under these circumstances, how they will prepare for the exams,” they said. They said that there was no school within 15 kilometers of the area and the school was granted the middle status due to increasing number of students. On the other hand, the headmaster said that CEO Mukhtar Hussain, not he, has expelled the students. “The CEO is of the view that male and female students cannot get education together,” he added.
