Ghaus-ul-Azam Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani’s Urs continues in Baghdad

BAGHDAD (92 News) – Urs celebrations of Ghaus-ul-Azam Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani are underway in Baghdad. Hundreds of thousands devotees from Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and Arab countries, are present in Baghdad to pay respect to the great pious figure. Shaykh Syed Khalid Abdul Qadir Mansoor Al Jilani, custodian to the shrine of Ghaus-ul-Azam Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani, inaugurated the Urs celebrations. Participants recited ‘naats’ during the annual main ceremony of ‘Gyarween Sharif’. Talking to 92 News, Shaykh Syed Khalid Abdul Qadir Mansoor Al Jilani appreciated the austerity and straightforwardness of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that he had liked serving of tea instead of lunch or dinner by the prime minister during a meeting in Pakistan. Shaykh Syed Khalid Abdul Qadir Mansoor Al Jilani said that Imran Khan is a simple man.
