KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the result of the Ghotki by-election is a message for those doing the politics of puppet politics. Addressing a press conference at Bilawal House on Wednesday, he said that some government members are also contacting them for the Senate chairman election. He said that Mir Hasil Bizanjo will not bow before the government. The PPP chairman said that the Senate chairman will be from the opposition. “Tomorrow is the black day. On July 25, the funeral of democratic rights was taken out,” he said. He thanked the people of Ghotki and Sindh for expressing confidence in the PPP. “The NA-25 seat was earlier with selected government. The success is a clear message for political orphans,” he said. He also reiterated his unconditional support for the prime minister’s US visit.
Bilawal announces unconditionally support to government efforts
Following to Prime Imran Khan’s meeting with US President Donald Trump, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto announced to unconditionally support to the government efforts for national interests. In a tweet, appreciating the incumbent government, the PPP chairman said, “Having said that in the greater national interest everyone should support Pakistan’s efforts to engage the world.” “I therefor unconditionally support governments efforts. Will always provide constructive criticism when needed but will always support,” he tweeted. In another tweet, Bilawal Bhutto explained, “I‘ve many reservations about our PM, his undemocratic politics & economically fatal polices. I also believe much of his conduct abroad particularly his jalsa is unbecoming of a PM who is supposed to represent.” It is noteworthy that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari first time lauded the government steps after general election. He commented after the US President has offered mediation over the Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India during a key meeting with the prime minister at Oval Office, White House. Talking to the media, the US President Donald Trump said he would talk to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the Kashmir issue. “America can help reduce tension between Pakistan and India.” He said that Pakistan will be a source of protecting one million lives in Afghanistan. “Pakistan is a great country. I have several friends from Pakistan.” He said that Indian PM Narendra Modi had also asked him for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
