Ghusal of Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh shrine performed

LAHORE (92 News) – The 974th ghusal ceremony of the shrine of Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh was performed on Saturday. The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran verses. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar also participated in the ceremony and laid a ‘chadar’ on the grave of the saint. They also performed the ‘Dastar Bandi’ of the guests. The Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Data Darbar prayed for the progress of the country and the nation and defence of the borders. Punjab Auqaf Minister Syed Zaeem Qadri, State Minister Ameenul Hasnat and Secretary Abdul Jabbar Shaheen were also present. Stringent security arrangements had been made on the occasion.
