Gilani says he asked Haqqani to expedite visas’ issuance, not to violate laws

MULTAN (92 News) – Former prime minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that he had asked Hussain Haqqani to expedite the issuance of visas, not to violate laws.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, he said that he had written in the letter that the ambassador could issue visas to anyone in Pakistan without permission.

Gilani said that Haqqani told him that visas were granted after clearance of the agencies.

He also demanded to make the Abbotabad Commission report public.
