Gilgit-Baltistan CM Khalid Khurshid disqualified in fake degree case

GILGIT (92 News) - Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court disqualified Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid in the fake degree case on Tuesday.

The three-member bench of the Chief Court announced the verdict after hearing the arguments.

According to the verdict, Khalid Khurshid could not prove his verdict as true.

GB Assembly Member Ghulam Shahzad Agha had filed the case against Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid. The police had made stringent security arrangements outside the court.

Meanwhile, nine opposition members have tabled a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid keeping in view the expected dissolution of the assembly.
