Girl becomes boy after successful surgery at Madina Teaching Hospital

FAISALABAD (92 News) – A 16-year-old girl became boy after undergoing a successful surgery at Madina Teaching Hospital on Friday. Javeria, a resident of Mohallah Maskinpura, Chiniot, felt pain in her belly. She was brought to Madina Teaching Hospital where doctors diagnosed that she had male genes. A doctors’ team led by Akram Malik conducted the operation for several hours and successfully changed her sex. She was named Javed. Javed has become another brother of his sister. Doctors said that the condition of Javed was stable and another surgery would be conducted after a fortnight and she would be able to lead a routine life. His parents are very happy at a change in his sex.
