Girl dies as Dolphin Force, dacoits exchange fire near Punjab University in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – A 22-year-old girl was killed in an exchange of fire between Dolphin Force and dacoits near Punjab University on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Fatima. The police arrested the dacoits and recovered weapons from them.

The police spokesman said that the girl was killed in the firing of dacoits. He said that the dacoits had robbed several people in Millat Park area and the police were chasing them. "The dacoits opened fire on the police near the Punjab University. A bullet hit a passer-by girl who died instantly," he added.

IGP Punjab Inam Ghani has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from DIG Operations.
