KARACHI (92 News) – The prices of Gold rose to the highest level in Pakistan’s history after increasing Rs2000 per tola. According to the details garnered, Gold moved up by Rs 2000 reaching at Rs 96,300 per tola in the local market. Gold rose to the highest level in the country's history, after raising Rs 2,000 per tola to Rs 96,300. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold was increased by Rs 1715 and reached at Rs 82,562. The gold prices in the local market were increased due to increase in the international market, where the yellow metal was trading at $1684 with an increase of $40 per ounce on Monday. Earlier, the gold prices have increased to record high of Rs93,500 after gaining an increase of Rs920 per tola in a day. After an increase of US$17 per ounce in the international market, the gold rate has increased to US$1,637 per ounce. Gold prices hit their highest in seven years as investors sought safe-haven assets after a rise in the number of new coronavirus cases in South Korea. Oil prices rose, supported by China’s efforts to bolster its virus-weakened economy. The dollar has surged almost 2% since Tuesday against the yen, reaching its highest in almost 10 months, and the greenback climbed to near three-year highs against the euro.
