Gold price surges by Rs10,000 to all-time high of Rs338,800 per tola in Pakistan
KARACHI (92 News) The gold price has reached an all-time high in the local as well as the global market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the gold price has increased by Rs10,000 to a record high of Rs338,800 per tola in Pakistan.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has also increased by Rs8,573 to Rs290,466 in the country.
On the other hand, the price of gold has increased by $100 to $3,218 per ounce in the international market.
On Thursday, the gold price had surged by Rs7,800 to Rs328,800 per tola, and that of 10 grams of gold had increased by Rs6,688 to Rs281,893.
In the international market, the gold price had increased by $78 to $3,118 per ounce.
According to economic experts, due to the ongoing tariff war between the United States and China, gold is being purchased to protect capital.
