Good news for Lahorites: Recommendations sent to CM to celebrate Basant

LAHORE (92 News) – The Basant committee has sent recommendations to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to celebrate Basant. According to the recommendations, kites will not be more than a certain size. There will be a ban on the use of ‘charkhi’ and chemical threat. The violators will be fined Rs 500,000. On the Basant day, the bikers will travel by installing a rod on the handle. The Basant committee comprises of the Lahore commissioner, DG Walled City, DCO Lahore, Zaeem Hussain Qadri and Yousaf Salahuddin.
