Goods transport owners continue countrywide strike for 2nd day

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Goods Transport Owners Association continued their countrywide strike against an increase in toll tax on Friday.

Owing to the strike, the transportation of medicines, vegetables and fruit was badly affected. They demanded introduction of uniform excel weight system across the country.

They also demanded that the Motorway police should be stopped from issuing challan tickets unnecessarily besides withdrawing the toll tax immediately.

They announced to continue their strike until fulfilment of their demands.
