Government announces to write letter to UK govt for deporting Nawaz
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal government has announced that they will write a letter to UK government for deporting former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday.
This was announced by Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq while addressing a press conference. She said that it is time to bring the VIP prisoner to Pakistan as the government will write a letter to British government to depart Nawaz Sharif.
“The Punjab government has sent its recommendations which will be forwarded to the British government next week for extradition of Nawaz Sharif by the federal government,” the special assistant maintained. “Anyone who has pain for the public, he should come to Pakistan and solve it,” she added.
It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz Sharif is currently in London for medical treatment.
Referring to US-Taliban peace deal, the special assistant said Afghan peace agreement signed in Doha testified Prime Minister Imran Khan’s long-held stance that negotiations are only viable option to promote peace and stability in the region.
She said Pakistan will continue its policy of supporting the Afghan people in their efforts to achieve lasting peace, stability and development in Afghanistan.
On the issue of Afghan refugees in Pakistan, she said Pakistan hosted millions of Afghan refugees on its land, which shows country s hospitality and generosity.
