Government is behind Nehal Hashmi, says Khurshid Shah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Reacting to the U-turn of Nehal Hashmi, Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has on Tuesday the government is behind Nehal Hashmi.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that he had earlier said that the resignation was filed to bring the issue down.

He said went on to say that the government has given Nehal Hashmi green signal to take u-turn on the resignation.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Nehal Hashmi called on Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani and asked him not to accept his resignation.

He had relinquished his seat in the House after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took notice of his threatening speech against officials of Panama Leaks Joint Investigation Team and the judiciary.

On the other hand, the Supreme Court had ordered PML-N leader Nehal Hashmi to submit the reply to his threatening speech by June 16.
