FAISALABAD (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the coalition government has saved the country from bankruptcy.

Addressing a cheque distribution ceremony among workers of Labour Department in Faisalabad on Sunday, he said that the government had no option but to raise the petroleum prices due to the agreement signed by the PTI government with the  International Monitory Fund. “As per agreement with the IMF, the subsidy on petroleum products should be zero.”

The interior minister said that the incumbent government is cognizant of the problems faced by common man due to inflation but under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, all these problems will be overcome soon.

Earlier, Rana Sanaullah had said that the situation would have not been like this if correct decisions had been made. “The page of hurling threats of reaching D Chowk had been torn off. "I assure the leadership that no one can besiege Islamabad now," he added.

He had said that they all are united for resolution of the problems of the country. "Only a group of anarchists wants chaos and it should avoid politics," he added.
