Government to decide reopening of educational institutions on Sept 7

 ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mehmood on Friday has said that a follow-up meeting on September 7 will decide about reopening of educational institutes across the country from September 15. While addressing a press conference, Shafqat Mehmood has asked the health ministry to prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) for educational institutes to prevent spread of coronavirus. "Final decision for reopening of schools will be taken on behalf of the guidelines given by the Health Ministry," he added. The minister also mentioned that work is in process to impose uniform education system in the country. "A curriculum has been developed in consultation with all schools of thought, provinces and experts," he added. Shafqat Mehmood said that a uniform syllabus will be taught in all schools of the country from April 2021.
