Government will move Supreme Court against ban on Kisan Package, says Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government will move the Supreme Court against a ban on the Kisan Package. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the package was meant for the prosperity of small farmers, not big landlords. “Its ambit is not a constituency, but entire Pakistan, he maintained. The minister said that Imran Khan raises objections whenever a relief is provided to small farmers. He said that Imran Khan had demanded the Kisan Package by holding three farmers convention. He added that the Kisan Package had been suspended under pressure from Imran Khan. “I could not understand the verdict of the Election Commission of Pakistan,” he added.
