ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary has requested President Arif Alvi to dissolve the National Assembly as PM Shehbaz Sharif has lost a majority in the House.

Expressing his views after the ruling of the Supreme Court in the presidential reference for the explanation of the Article 63 A, he said that the governments in Centre and Punjab had ended practically.

"Both Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz have lost their majority. Shehbaz Sharif had 173 votes, while three people have already left the PML-N," he maintained.

Fawad Chaudhary said that the assemblies are going to be dissolved and the country is heading towards the fresh elections.

He said that the elections will be controversial if held under the present chief election commissioner. "We think that the chief election commissioner should be changed," he added.
