Govt accuses PML-N, PPP & JUI-F of receiving donations from criminal groups

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) of receiving donations from criminal groups.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said that these parties are using these donations for money laundering. "These parties take funds for big crocodiles and work for their interests," he maintained.

The minister said that the PTI started intra-party donations for counter the mafia. "We have not given an undue favour to anyone in exchange for donations," he added.

Reacting to Maryam Nawaz's statement, Shibli Faraz said that her royal family had plundered the funds of South Punjab in name of decorating Lahore. "Farmers belonging to South Punjab hate the royal coterie," he said.
