ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has allowed the import of tomatoes from Iran to overcome the crisis of tomatoes. Sources in the Customs Department said that exporters have imported tomatoes on a large scale. They said that hundreds of trailers will be cleared in five days. Adviser for Commerce and Textile Abdur Razzaq Dawood said that the import of tomatoes from Iran is resolving the problems. “Things will improve in the coming days,” he said. He said that currently the industry is facing the biggest issue of water. “We are working to overcome the gas shortage,” he said.
