Govt allows Pervez Musharraf to go abroad for treatment

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has allowed former president Pervez Musharraf to go abroad. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Interior Minister Ch Nisar said that the name of Pervez Musharraf was being removed from the ECL in the light of the decision of the Supreme Court. He said that the former president would return to the country after 4-6 weeks treatment. The minister said that those playing politics by leveling allegations had bid Musharraf farewell by according him the guard of honor. He said that no one would see any 'shadow' behind this decision. On the other hand, all airports have been informed to remove Pervez Musharraf’s name from the ECL. He will leave for Dubai by a routine flight. After the medical check-up in Dubai, decision about his treatment will be made. Meanwhile, two seats were got booked in a private airline for the departure of former president Pervez Musharraf. Tariq Mahmood will also accompany him. The flight will leave for Dubai from Karachi at 3:55am today. 92 News has received a copy of the air ticket of Pervez Musharraf.
