Govt announces free hand for PDM to stage protest in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the government will give a free hand to the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for staging protest outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the law will take action against those taking the law into their hands. "The government has first time allowed protest in Red Zone," he added.

Sheikh Rasheed said that action would be taken if seminary students participated in the protest.

"Political parties will part ways with Maulana Fazalur Rehman and Maulana Fazalur Rehman will be trapped. Then Sheikh Rasheed will offer him 'halwa' topped with almond, raisin and 'Khoya' (mawa)," he added.
