Govt announces Rs 2 per litre increase in petrol price
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal government has announced an Rs 2 per litre increase in the petrol price for 15 days.
According to the announcement by the Finance Ministry, the petrol price has been fixed at Rs 110.69 per litre.
On the other hand, an Rs 1.79 increase has been announced in the price of high-speed diesel.
In a tweet, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill said that the OGRA had proposed Rs 6.05 increase in the petrol price due to an increase in the POL products in the international market.
"Likewise there was a proposal to increase the diesel price by Rs 3.44. But only an increase of Rs 1.44 has been allowed," he said.
