Govt appealed to rescue peasants Nazeem, Khalil lifted by India along LoC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The families of two innocent peasants, who were lifted by the Indian security forces on August 21 along the Line of Control (LoC), on Wednesday appealed the federal government to make efforts for their release. Speaking at a press conference, the heirs of Nazeem Khokhar of Forward Kahota and Khalil Kiyani of Bagh district Balochistan, alleged that Indian forces captured both of them without any justification and later tried to dub them as spies and terrorists. Peasants-LoC-1 They appealed the federal government for their timely release. According to the Deputy Commissioner Havaili, Indian forces lifted them on August 21. Dubbing both Pakistanis as terrorists of LeT, Indian authorities had claimed that they both crossed into Indian territory through LoC. However, Pakistani authorities rejected the allegations leveled by India, saying both were innocent Pakistanis who were picked by Indian Army while violating LoC.
