Govt bestowing favourites under amnesty scheme, says Miftah Ismail

KARACHI (92 News) – PML-N leader Miftah Ismail has said that the government is granting favours to its favorite people under the amnesty scheme.

Criticizing the current government on Monday, he said that the electricity price had increased by bringing the most expensive LNG in the world. “With the increase in the interest rate, the government expenditure has increased. Inflation is continuously increasing in the country. People do not trust policies of the government," he added.

The PML-N leader said that the government has reduced tax from expensive vehicles and increased on motorcycles. It has benefitted the richest people of the country,” he added.

He said that this year foreign investment has also been reduced. "Pakistan is the cheapest marketplace of the world. Gas is not available in all over Karachi. The government cannot even provide gas for three times in a day. Though Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar has won the battle of words, but failed in providing gas to the masses," he added.

Miftah Ismail asked Hammad Azhar not to argue and he should provide gas to the people.
