Govt cancels diplomatic passports of nine PTI leaders

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The federal government has cancelled the diplomatic passports of nine PTI leaders.

The leaders whose diplomatic passports have been cancelled include Pervaiz Khattak, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Ali Amin Gandapur, Furrukh Habib, Zartaj Gull, Azam Swati, Aon Abbas and Ali Muhammad Khan.

The diplomatic passport of AML chief Sheikh Rashid has also been cancelled.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the former cabinet members had not returned the diplomatic passports even after one year. "Former cabinet members, including Imran Khan, will have to return their diplomatic passports," he added.
