Govt can’t remove Justice Qazi Faez Isa, says CJ Asif Saeed Khosa

LONDON (92 News) – Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has said that the government cannot remove Justice Qazi Faez Isa, while the reference against him is the issue of the Supreme Judicial Council. Addressing a seminar in Cambridge University London on Sunday night, he said that these matters pertain to Pakistani courts and it was not an appropriate forum to discuss it here. The CJ urged to people to have trust in judge and justice will be done. During the seminar, students asked questions about Pakistan’s judicial system. The government has already a reference against Justice Faez Isa and it is scheduled to be heard on June 14. The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has announced a protest against the reference.
