LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that the government could not bring political parties on the same page to combat coronavirus. Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the Centre had announced to lift the lockdown, but the Punjab government is talking about not ending the lockdown. He said that the country is in the hands of novices. “The poor and labourers are paying the price for the incompetence of the government,” he maintained. The PML-N leader demanded that the petrol and diesel prices should be brought to Rs50 per litre. “The government should also reduce the electricity and gas bills to one-third.” He said that the NAB should broadcast its proceedings to apprise the people of the reality. “The NAB is only involved in the character assassination of the opposition,” he alleged. Ahsan Iqbal said that the government was still on the container at D Chowk. “The action is being taken against Ch Pervaiz Elahi because he has continuously been issuing the production orders for the parliamentarians,” he said.
