ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has on Wednesday decided to contact Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan to convince him end his boycott and join the joint session of the parliament. Sources said that the government has decided to convince the PTI to join the joint session of the parliament. The strategy of how to contact the PTI is being devised and three options are under consideration in this regard. The first option is that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will directly contact the PTI and the second option is that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) of Jamaat-e-Islami contact. The third and last option that is under consideration is that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would directly contact Imran Khan and try to convince him not to sit this meeting out. On the other hand, PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the government has not contacted them in this regard. Yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced to boycott the joint session of Parliament called by the prime minister today. PTI chief Imran Khan said that it had been six months but the prime minister had not responded to the allegations made in the Panama Leaks. The entire nation has been held hostage by one Panama issue, he said.
