Govt decides to change Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman and members

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has on Monday decided to change the members of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee including Mufti Muneebur Rehman. Sources said that the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee members were getting benefits and other concessions equal to a Grade 20 official. “The Federal minister for Religious Affairs will hold consultations regarding new chairman and members of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee,” sources said. The shuffling in Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is said be occurring because of the differences moon sighting.
