Govt decides to move SC against ECP verdict for re-polling in NA-75

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has decided to move the Supreme Court against the verdict of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) fo re-polling in NA-75.

The decision was made in a meeting of the PTI spokespersons chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday.

The prime minister was briefed about the verdict of the ECP. The participants discussed legal and constitutional aspects of the results of the by-election in Daska.

Ali Asjad Malhi said that they would challenge the ECP verdict in the SC.

In a tweet, Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said that discussion was held on legal and constitutional aspects to challenge the ECP verdict and further discussion would also be held.
