Govt decides to put forward resolution against President and Governor Punjab

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The government has decided to put forward resolution against President Arif Alvi and Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema.

Addressing a pressing conference on Tuesday, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarrar said that many people holding constitutional positions are playing law for many weeks. "Unfortunately, everything is going law. Member of all parties expressed their opinions on Punjab governor in the Cabinet meeting," he added.

He said that the Cabinet members also raised questions on behavior of the President. "The country should not be pushed towards political crisis. It has been decided that resolution will be put forward in National Assembly (NA) regarding character of Punjab governor and President," he concluded.
