Govt declares Transparency International report as incomplete

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has declared the report of Transparency International as incomplete.

Talking to the media after the federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary said that the Transparency International report was reviewed in the federal cabinet meeting.

"No financial corruption has been mentioned in the report. "Results of the Census Pilot project will be received in April," he added.

The minister claimed that machinery import had increased by 35 percent first time in the country. "The IT exports have increased by 48 percent. The direct investment in the country has increased by 20 percent," he added.

He demanded that the case of Shehbaz Sharif should be tried on daily basis.

Fawad Chaudhary said that a special committee has been formed for the matters pertaining to G-5 license. Bonus will be given to the employees of departments showing better performance," he added.
