Govt delegation led by FM Qureshi meets Chaudhary brothers, conveys PM's message

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - A government delegation led by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi called on the Chaudhary brothers on Saturday.

During the meeting, the delegation conveyed the message of PM Imran Khan to the Chaudhary brothers.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi said that they had been with the government for the last three months and allies were not included in the consultation at any place. "We have been ignored on each important occasion. In politics, one should have tolerance to bear others. The medicine of those sitting abroad has not come yet," he maintained.

He said that there will be no drop scene of the political drama and only character will be changed. "The broth is ready and a half has been distributed while other half is being distributed. The public meetings will not affect the no-confidence motion."

Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi and MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema complained about the attitude of the federal government. "Despite being the allies, the government does not consider us in the opposition."

They said that the government had supported their opponents whether it was constituency of Tariq Bashir or Saalik.

Shah Mahamood Qureshi said that PM Imran Khan and the party leadership highly respect the Chaudhary brothers. "Setting aside complaints, the thread of alliance should be strong," he maintained.
