Govt did a good job by starting investigations into audio leaks: President Alvi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - President Dr Arif Alvi has said that the government did a good job by starting investigations into the audio leaks.

Addressing the joint session of the parliament on Thursday, he said that there is need to strengthen the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to end corruption.

"Overseas Pakistanis should be given the right to vote and the electronic voting machine (EVM) should be introduced," he maintained.

The President said that 2022 is the year of elections. "Social media has created frenzy in Pakistan. Polarization exist in the country. We should enhance the relations with the European countries besides increasing the imports. Our relations with America are improving," he added.

Only 12 members, out of total 446, were present in the House.
