Govt doesn't advertise itself in good acts, people say destruction has struck Punjab: PM Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the government does not advertise itself in good acts, but the people say destruction has struck Punjab.

Addressing the Punjab Education Convention on Wednesday, he said that the former government used to magnify its small act. "I was hurt and humiliated at whatever happened at Minar-e-Pakistan. The reason behind destruction is that the children are not being properly guided," he maintained.

The prime minister said that children would be taught the Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) along with the Single National Curriculum.

During a meeting with IGP Punjab Inam Ghani, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his anger at delayed response by the police.

PM Imran Khan directed the IGP Punjab to give immediate response to the increasing incidents of women's harassment.

He also held a meeting with the Chief Secretary and the IGP Punjab where he was informed about the progress on the Minar-e-Pakistan incident and steps taken to stop such incidents.
