Govt doesn't want to do anything in favour of national interest: Shahid Khaqan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the government does not want to do anything in favour of national interest. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that the government had rejected the opposition's amendments with regard to the NAB laws. The PML-N leader said that they were informed in the meeting that the government does not agree with the proposals. "But it has not been told that no proposal has been mentioned." Boycotting government's dialogues with regard to legislation of the opposition, he said that now onward each matter will be discussed at the APC level. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the government is not talking in a positive manner. PPP Senator Sherry Rehman said that they are trying to introduce amendments to the important bill with regard to the FATF. "Pakistan was removed from the FATF black list in the PPP government," he said.
