Govt fully aware of common man's difficulty due to price-hike: PM Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the government is fully aware of the hardship of the common man due to price-hike.

During a meeting with Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Punjab Minister for Baitul Maal Syed Yawar Bukhari on Friday, he said that the government is taking durable steps to ensure maximum relief to the masses.

"Price control committees have been activated at the tehsil and district level. An indiscriminate crackdown will be launched against profiteers and hoarders," he declared.

The prime minister said that the best standard of the public welfare projects would be ensured. "The law is equal for everyone. We will ensure the rule of law," he added. He directed the Punjab chief minister to complete all development projects within the stipulated time.

Punjab Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal and IGP Rao Sardar Ali Khan were also present.
