Govt grants Five-day holidays for Eid-ul-Azha

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved five Eid-ul-Azha holidays with effect from Friday.

Eidul Azha will be celebrated with religious fervor and enthusiasm to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). The day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for the peace, progress and well-being of the Ummah and Pakistan. After offering Eid prayers, the faithful will slaughter their sacrificial animals. The police have made security arrangements to deal with any emergency.
