Govt has become a heavy burden on country, says Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that those claiming of the State of Madina have once again washed away the masses in flood of inflation.

Expressing his views in the House on Monday, he said that the government has become a heavy burden on the country.

He said that the rulers talks about the State of Madina day and night, but there was no hunger, worst inflation, unemployment and injustice there. "Imran Khan used to say the prime minister is a thief when the prices of electricity and petrol are increased," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the middle class was forced to beg. "The crises of sugar and wheat were created and mega scandals surfaced. Not a single brick is visible after borrowing Rs 15,000 billion. LNG available for US$10 in the Nawaz Sharif tenure is now being purchased at US$56," he added.

He said that the government had brought the country on the verge of disaster.

During the speech, the treasury members raised a hue and cry. On the intervention of the speaker, Shehbaz Sharif resumed his speech.
